What’s a simple/easy way to see engine oil temps in an ‘08 mustang 4.6L? I want to know when oil is over 160~180* ish & safe for higher rpm’s. I don’t need exact #’s, just a general idea.

These TT gauges work great on motorcycles & I’m looking for a simple place to attach/insert a sensor & get approximate engine oil temps.

thx gents..I’ll get under it today & look..another idea is a few rare earth magnets holding a copper tab on/near the oil pan drain bolt.

My TT Endurance gauge with an insert tab into the fins of my dirtbike oil cooler works great, but I don’t think my 4.6 has an oil cooler, &or one with fins.
