So I'm in need of some help, fellas and fellettes.

I have a '12 BOSS 302 and I recently purchased a reproduction 302LS front splitter from a member here/on FB. When I installed it, I had to un-install the previous owners knockoff 302LS splitter and support rods. It was then when I realized that the support rods aren't connected to anything! There were two flat pieces of metal that passed through holes in the bottom of the lower fascia and acted as large washers.. that's it.

I'm having trouble finding the OEM bumper bracket that the rods are supposed to screw into. What are the aftermarket options everyone is using? I'm having the darndest time finding something.

Thanks for all of your help!

To my knowledge, there's basically 3 options out there:
1. The original splitter support, pn: M-17A626-MB.
2. The tubular front bumper/tow hook, pn: M-17757-MB
3. Blowfish/SVE Tow Hook

As I'm sure you're aware, the original bracket is basically unobtanium. The tubular bumper is a good option, but is expensive and necessitates cutting the bumper. The SVE tow hook is a direct rip of the old Blowfish design, which includes brackets designed to mount the LS splitter. It's probably the best option out there currently.

Hey Kona, thank you so much! I don't know why, but SVE needs to improve their search engine optimization. I searched HIGH and LOW for a solution via Google, forums, etc. and didn't find it anywhere! Ordered one today, and a set of Long Acre splitter rods. Thanks again! Can't wait.

Absolutely, happy to help! I spent too long scouring marketplace for a Blowfish hook before I found the SVE. Best of luck, I'm in a similar boat, I've got the hook, currently sourcing a new blade.

If you need a new splitter, Kona, I can hook you up with a gentleman that makes them (factory reproductions). They're priced fair IMO, and made with the same material as OEM (1/4" ABS) - one side smooth, one textured. He has both WC and LS.

I bought my LS from him and am very pleased.

If you wouldn't mind dropping a line, I'd definitely be interested in checking it out. I was planning on 3/8", as I'd seen an old thread where Vorshlag had given that number, and was also included in the CAD I received for the WC splitter. Couldn't hurt to ask!
