Adam,

I can't wait to see what happens to the 67. My mom still has the 68 coupe she bought brand new. Candy Apple Red, White C-stripe, 289/3-spd. She let me drive it by myself when I was 16 and I will never forget it. It's been stored since the mid 90's. Patiently waiting. Someday it will hopefully come to my house.

I will be very interested to see details of your build. I have considered turning the 68 into a track car as well.

I spent about 16 hours this week working on the car. Trans swap, pulled the clutch and flywheel, main seal replacement, wideband O2 install, oil change, driveshaft, carb tuning, new main jets, chasing down vacuum leaks, went over the entire suspension inspecting and torquing everything down, etc...This car has been in the family since I was born and a lot of my automotive knowledge has come from working on this car since I was a kid. I have a great respect and connection with this car. My dad and I restored it before he passed away a few years ago.

Sounds just like the one I drove. :) It’s anazing how well the PDK works.

My best friend and I started a YouTube channel this last summer called "Russ and Adam's Garage". We had originally named it "Americans at the Nurburgring" but decided that wasn't the greatest name because most people would give us a blank stare when we would try and tell them the name. Anyways, we are two car guys and for now we are just having fun sharing our amateur videos with the world. Our video editing skills are slowly improving as we gain more experience with each video.

Long story short, I'll start posting videos in this thread from our channel. Please, comment, like, and subscribe to our channel. We aren't doing this for money, we don't make any money from the channel. We just enjoy doing it and enjoy the discussions and feedback that come from the videos. This is the best forum out there and I've enjoyed my time here first with the Boss and now with the GT350. Thanks

Adam

Hey Adam,
I’ve been following the Silver Mustang build on the channel, and I’ve got to say, the sound of that car during the first track tests was absolutely spot on. It’s got that perfect, gritty '68 Bullitt vibe that every Mustang fan dreams of. (Me especially :))
Could you please let me know which camshaft you were running during those initial track sessions? Also, if you don’t mind sharing, what heads , intake , muffler setup were you paired with to get that 'McQueen' growl? (It's spintech but which serie ? )
I would really appreciate your insight on this build; it would be a huge help for my own project.
Best,
Mark
