I had a very interesting Saturday this past weekend. Hon and I were invited to "Auntie" Tanya's Estate in the rolling hills of Shelton to celebrate her son's Prom night. We had to watch over little Acey Boy because Son was the DJ. No expense was spared for this occasion!!!! In my day , we rented our tux, but his was custom tailor made with his name embroidered on the cuffs of his sleeves. And He and his date were riding in style!!!!............A chauffeur driven custom WHITE LAMBORGHINI SUV LIMO!!!!!!..........Did I mention money was no object. We're invited back for the graduation party next month.........I can't wait to see what that brings!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!. Happy glorious Tuesday, Cinco De Mayo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great day around here today..........Sun, Mid 70's.............I had the Boss out for a quick ride.........Man, I love That Car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hon picked up Galaxy and He was sun bathing in the backyard for awhile............Life is Good............when it is...........

I stumbled on one of the better Super Bowl halftime shows from S.B. XLI (2007)............How dare they put an ad in the middle of it!!!!! Thank goodness for "skip" icons. R.I.P. .....P.... hit the "watch on youtube" line.........

This tune is from the album of the same name, which was released in 1971...
This is my all-time favorite video of Aqualung Locomotive Breath*. Not only because it's an awesome live performance, but because it's a reaction video by a professional flute player. The looks of sheer terror on her face as Ian Anderson spins & twirls his flute, that turn into joy at his playing, is magical. And at times hilarious.

One of the comments sums it pretty well -
Flutists: this is a precious and delicate instrument of my art, I will protect it like my child.
Ian: I'm a music wizard and this is my magic wand.

*I started writing this thinking the video was Aqualung, then realized it was Locomotive Breath when I finally found it, and forgot to edit what I'd already written before I originally posted.

Memorial Day weekend is here..... Too bad the great summer like weather we enjoyed earlier this week couldn't stick around a few more days.........Clouds today, with temps stuck in the 50's......rain later into Sunday.......Monday might be the best chance for a decent day, but even that is iffy. Enjoy your Holiday Weekend, but don't lose sight of the reason we observe this Holiday....... 1779550432080.png
