Can anyone confirm if there are any differences between the front and rear subframes of a gt and a 350?
Just the frames themselves.

Thanks,
Chris

Front subframe is the same for all mustangs 15-26 by the looks of Fords catalog. Part # PR3Z*5C145*C

Looks like the rear subframe changes part number based on trim level. But the rear subframe comes with the diff bushings installed from ford. The only way to get them apparently so it may just be the different bushings that cause the change of part number. I only see 1 of those part numbers with a photo, so I can't compare the two visually.

Thanks for the reply. I can't imagine there is much of a difference at all really.

I just bought a shell that I want to build into a track car. And I mean literally a shell (quarter windows and back glass!)

I'm looking at buying front and rear subs just to move it around. Problem is I'm so damn cheap, I hate buying stuff I know I'm going to replace. Which is actually kinda funny considering what a thousand or two is in the overall budget of a ground up build.

I'm even wondering how deep i could get just cutting out the whole floor and building a frame.

Thanks again

...

Unsolicited opinion on my own personal policy: Don't think of that one thousand as a percentage of the total. Think of it separately, such as in your pocket, your bank, or what else it could buy.

Another personal policy is to not buy what I already own. Such as having duplicate subframes, lol.
