Hey everyone, bought a 17' GT PP Nov 2025 62k miles. Mods CAI, axle back, BMR level 2 lock out, and diff bushings. I've noticed 2 things since owning it. First is only after car warms up from a dead stop I start off slow I get a rear clunk/pop. You can actually feel the car move with it like a left to right motion. Small but feel it in the seat. If I push the clutch in or get above say 5-10mph it stops and is very smooth. Second when I go WOT feels like the front of the car pulls left, I would compare to a drag car twisting the chassis. Not to quote Dom lol. Other day did a pull and felt the front end move to the left and around 85mph I hear the rearend pop (like at low speed) and literally felt like the car actually centered up. I have looked for months and the only things I have come up with is do the lockout kit and diff bushings. I have torqued axle nuts and checked most bolts and nuts that i could get to for toque and everything seems to be tight as it should. Other things I haven't done are thrust washer on axles or LCA bushings or vertical links. Seems those are common pieces that others replace. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

For the clunk/pop check rear wheel hubs mostly driver side but could be passenger as well if you are feeling it in the seat this needs replacing fast. Lockout kit and diff bushings are a must.

Thank you bnight, I'll add that to my parts list to purchase. It's not a daily driver so I'll leave it parked. One additional question, any thoughts on why it only makes the noise after I've been driving and everything gets good and warmed up?

I don't feel or hear anything until 10 miles down the road. I could cruise in my neighborhood start/stop and never hear it. Just weird!

Ask someone to stand next to the car and try moving forward and then backwards if the click is there moving back its wheel hub. You also could lift the car and inspect them. The Wheel Hub has a very noticeable whine as well ones you are over 60 km/h speed.

Awesome, appreciate the insights. I'll do that, thought about replacing them anyways once I get in there and replace thrust washer and rear axles nuts all at once. Wanting to track the car but trying to shake out all the issues first.
