Hi, Starting a build thread as I figure out what I’ve got and then what I want to change.

I see you are in NoVA…I work up there a lot (office is in Ashburn) and will be at Summit Point with Chin Track Days in August. Welcome!

Got her out for Autocross school this past weekend. Not surprisingly I found that the thing needed the most is a better driver. Right now, I'm putting the money and effort into more seat time and better way to record the instructor feedback with the driving data.

If you're looking to do both autocross and time trials with SCCA, take a look at their new Club Spec Mustang rules.

Thursday was my second track day and first in more than a dozen years. Had a blast! I was really impressed with how the PS4 all seasons stood up to the track day; looks like I can put off tires for awhile. Which is a good thing, the RF brake line let go during session 3. Fortunately got Sallie off the track without damage to her or another car. Best Lap of the Day

Before the event I upgraded to Gloc R8 brake pads and Castrol RBF fluid. Also changed oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, power steering fluid. Not having good records, I figured I would restart with everything new just to be safe. No other changes to Sallie.

Glad you had fun though I would recommend upgrading to at least R12s up front, as the R8s are a just not quite as aggressive as needed in my estimation. If you get pads from Tim at OP Mustang he always gets them pre-bedded , but if not there make sure you always request your G-Locs be pre-bedded.

.................I see the pumpkins turned into a Chariot. She looks like a classy ride to pick up Cinderella! Beautiful and orange you glad you made the little cosmetic change?

The winter 26 work on Sallie has started;
Last weekend I added an LMR SVE tow hook. I figure if I have a tow hook, I won't need a tow hook
This weekend was nothing so exciting.
I replaced the hood struts with some Redline model. The old ones were quite old and didn't keep the hood up in cold weather. Not good during tech inspection.
Next I replaced the radiator lower splash shield. It went missing at some point. There was enough broken plastic to know there was fun had when it let go.
On a related note, I replaced all the missing fender and bumper fasteners. Presumably they went missing in the same incident as the splash shield
Finally I replaced the missing trunk fasteners. The loose panel at the back of the trunk was annoying me every time I had to get my gear in and out of the trunk.

With the annoyance items repaired, next weekend I should be able to focus on more performance related items.

Oh yeah, forgot I had to replace light bulbs for upcoming inspection as well.

I've to be a better driver on the track and pushing myself and Sallie harder. My inability to heel / toe downshifts (multiple ankle injuries) is now making an impact on my driving. So I ordered an Auto-Blip and finished installing it yesterday. Should be able to tune in on the orientation laps tomorrow. Looking forward to this upgrade.

Wow, didn't realize how long its been since I posted. Last time at the track, the wheel studs on the right rear broke. That incident has necessitated a mid-season upgrade. I've taken the opportunity to catch up on upgrades I had bought but not installed, plus addressing the found issues.

Upgrades so far:
Steeda adjustable Panhard bar
Steeda Panhard bar brace
Steeda Cro-Moly rear lower control arms
Koni Yellow shock - Right Rear
ARP wheel studs - rear
FRPP wheel hubs with ARP wheel studs

Here is a short video that covers the work so far:

There's more upgrades coming, but that's what I've installed so far.
