Heard the debate on here and seems the pros are ok with it.

Assume it can happen no matter how stiff your front springs are

Think its more to do with droop travel within the shock absorber.

You can't stiffen the front of the car to get rid of that, you'd have to soften it....a lot.

If you're internally topping the damper much at Sebring, you'll blow it apart. You're not wrong on the droop travel part, but it's really more of an issue of stiff front spring and soft rear spring (Yes, I said it, again). Even if the front is somewhere around 3.0 Hz (relatively soft), then you're going to have about 1" of static deflection. If you're going fast and the car is rolled over and squatting, the inside front is coming off the ground. The only thing you can do to stop it is slow down or stiffen the crap out of the rear (which will slow the car down in its own).

On stockish stuff, I agree. The GT3 isn't as top heavy at others (I think it's somewhere in the middle? ). The difference is how we're doing it. If you're picking it up with the rebound damping of the shock, it will live. If you're picking the tire up because of insufficient travel and you're repeatedly topping the damper hard internally, it will be very easy to damage a shock. There are a lot of variables involved, YMMV.

With all the posts from Mr. Blacksheep 1 of the Phoenix Performance Mustangs lifting a wheel I used to keep a framed picture "of my Boss 302S doing the same in my garage. I am pretty sure that lifting a wheel is a sign of utmost skill and pony power and should not be overanalyzed. If you car has done it just live with it and you have our permission at TMO to call yourself a stud.

If you get the rear of the car hooked up, you're likely to pull a front tire. It just a matter of how you get there.
 
True and from the zillion pics posted from our good buddy Blacksheep, Mustangs seem to be able to get there quite often. I go with posting tongue in cheek explanations denoting TMO driver skills since a thorough explanation of the suspension dynamics are way beyond my meager vehicle analytical understandings, therefore I often go with ---------" Uh, yeah, what BS1 said, check out the pics!"
