I finally got my gen 3 coyote and am prepping to set it up for higher RPM and longevity. I'm on my way to getting the oiling system completed with full -12AN lines, FRPP Road Racing oil pan, and an accusump but I have some questions and could use some advice for what else I should probably do to help the engine out.
This post feels like a mess
- My main questions are should I change out all the timing chains, guides, and tensioners?
- What is the actual upper RPM limit of the gen 3's? Should I change the valve springs?
- What should I do with the evap lines? Gen 3 is different than gen 2. Does anyone have a diagram of these lines?
- What other modifications are recommended? I'm trying to not dump a bunch of money into it but please let me know your thoughts!
