Speaking of blocks only, is there a difference between the 06 3v aluminum blocks and 4 valve aluminim.blocks from the same era?

There is a dude named Thomas Sanchez in Texas that has a Whippled and sprayed 4.6 3V Nemak block running 1200 hp.1 other thing if I remember correctly front wheel drive Lincoln 4v v8 modular blocks don't work in rear wheel drive cars? Don't remember why or who told me this.
Think 2004 blocks are newmark. Strong block. The ford motorsport aluminator block was latest version.
Tekside will handle 1000hp + after that I know drag racer who broke all main caps off! Yah but turbo was size of attic fan.
He's talking about dragster guys, but the mod motors are built pretty toughYou would be lucky to get about 60% of that in road racing trim. Valve springs and all that would still need to be changed every 25hrs or so of track time.
Blacksheep is right, and he has to rebuild quite frequently. You would be lucky to get about 60% of that in road racing trim. Valve springs and all that would still need to be changed every 25hrs or so of track time.
Yeah, I think the Grand Am boss 302s were rated for 50 hours. The FRC cars wereFord racing 5.0 4v cammers lasted 250 300 hours in fr500c before rebuild.
I was around for that, the S197 were wet sump, but dry sump in Pirelli seriesI do know the later imsa ran boss 302s and R they went to dry sump oiling systems. And cortex rears. And tall gears 4.30 ect
Absolutely will be putting a stroker in itAlso if you do a build I would see block you have? Probably wap which is newmark.
Think about stroking it. Either 3.750 or 3.800
Crank. Manley 5.850 rods and matching pistons.
On 92 mm bore will give 5.0 or almost 5.1 liters
