Been a while since I did anything with this car. Quick video on something I tinkered with that mainly helps cooling, but also a little increase in downforce and a little loss in drag makes it a tripple win!

Another smart product from the Airmaster; @AJ Hartman

I just stumbled across this thread, and now I have to read 6 years of posts and watch all the videos . . . 🤔

This is going to cost me a lot of time.

😆

If you haven't done it already, I highly recommend also reading the full build threads for FabMan and HoneyBadger. Lots of knowledge nuggets in both, and like this thread, high levels of craftsmanship & engineering.

So the 2026 Gridlife season is done for me in the old car and my plan is to start diving deeper into the GT350 to eventually be my next racecar. First up will be gutting it and cage and safety equipment. While its gutted I'll probably do carbon roof and GT3 style wing setup. But a video I forgot to post from a few years ago was my 2:01.0 at VIR. Enjoy!

Looking forward to seeing the 350 turn into a race car….
First order of business is making a low profile center console so I can replace the OEM cup holders and remain in Max Class :)

Ah, I may have mentioned it in a video a while ago that I was considering SCCA Max TT classes, but have since changed to building for Gridlife GLGT so will be a wheel to wheel car with around a 8.5:1 hp/wt ratio.

I figured that was the plan. But since the S550 is here to stay, why not make more fancy CF parts for the platform? Lol

Would be nice to have a CF replacement similar to the Watson offering that is no longer readily available. My elbow keeps hitting the center console when turning making it a bit uncomfortable. SCCA said I can replace the OEM with a similar part. Would be nice if you knew someone who could make it ;)

But I also understand that you have a long list of pressing items.

I second this low profile center console movement haha

You hit the nail there. I have way more beneficial parts to make and develop over a low profile center console. Maybe one day, but not any day soon.
