2021 GT500 Harness Bar Recommendations & Race Seat Questions

I'm looking for something very basic that can be installed without permanent modifications to the car (no cutting/drilling). If I get any more serious than that I'll just put a roll bar in. Sell me on something?

I don't have the Recaro's so I'll probably start putting a real race seat in for track days. How do you deal with all of the electronics and HVAC system (heated and cooled.....especially coold)?

MMR makes a harness bar that bolts in really easy and requires little cutting. It can be removed with 4 bolts after installing the mounting brackets. I went this way initially and it uses existing hardware to install, no drilling.

As far as the seat go you just unplug them and bolt in your race seat. You will have a warning light on your dashboard, but it does not affect the car at all. Just bolt in your new seats, install your harness and you are ready to go. I still change my seats from comfort seats in between trips to the track. It takes 20 minutes to swap them out after you do it a couple of times.

I went with a roll bar after one year of the harness bar.
