Hello.

I'm in a bit of conundrum. I have purchased a used set of front 19x11 +26, rear 19x11 +52 Apex SM 10 wheels with 305/35/19 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. I just installed them today and it seems that the clearance up front might be a bit tight. The car has the ford performance track handling pack. I have attached a pic of the front wheels clearances. I have searched and it seems usually the 305/30 are the preferred size. Those are not as tall and probably clear better the fenders than the 35s.

I drove around the block and it seems fine for street. I have a track day this weekend and another one next week. So I'm getting a bit late in the game. Would these work as is right now? I have camber plates and I believe I'm at around -2.7 up front. I might be able to add a bit more at home, but my typical alignment place wouldn't be able to see me before the track, so I wouldn't know how the toe looks. Another option might be to purchase a new set of tires in 30 ratio, which are not cheap and the current tires have plenty of life. Not sure what to do really. Has anyone ran such setup and had no issues at the track? Thank you

What is the inner clearance looking like aka close to strut ? Otherwise that gap should be fine as during cornering the dynamic camber gain will give you more clearance. Just look for scrub marks as I recently went through an experience where car was really low and fender was scrubbing on the street. If you are not scrubbing on the street which by the looks of it you are not. I would just send it. And figure out tires after I destroy this ones.

The first pic is a 285/35R20 which is taller than what you are running, but on a soft spring and set too low initially. That was mid hairpin so about as bad as it gets. Check the area shown and make sure the guard is nicely rounded and fully tucked on the inside in this region. You are going to polish the paintwork on the inside lip. Also your dirty inner liners are going to show some lovely fresh black marks at various point where the tyre rubs under compression and lock. Ideally see if you can get a bit more camber if possible. As @bnight mentioned, check the clearance to the strut on the inside. Both to the tube and the bottom of the spring platform. Should be fine as its a fixed spring platform.
I wouldn't be too concerned about your toe as any change you do to the camber now will be minor compared to where you currently are. Definitely get it sorted after the fact.
