I saw the prices for used tires at http://www.johnbtires.com. Anyone have any experience with them??

Looking at the Toyo R888 and the Hoosier R6 in 295/30 and 305/35-18.

Any comments very much appreciated!

Several guys here don't seem to like the R888 for tracking. IIRC, they said they got very greasy.

That's what I have heard as well.

I've had great luck with jbracingtires.net. Their website is pretty crappy but I always call and John is quick to get to help me out. Centri5.0 and I have been ordering tires from him for awhile now. He got one with a bad crack not too long ago and John quickly sent him a replacement one so he could be ready for an upcoming track day. They always have a tone of R6s.
