Haha yea the car will never be in that state again lol.It was a great few days. Always like to know I can help our community out and Warren proved he was worth the effort. A fine young man who is very knowledgeable.
Two points to make
1) Due to biggsy's observation we did correct those o-ring fittings on the oil adapter. I had torqued them but did not notice they were crooked. A simple tap on a deep socket and retorque of the screws and they are flush.
2) We need photos of the now clean engine bay and wiring harnesses. The car had a lot of grime from sitting idle and I "encouraged" Warren to take the time to thoroughly clean everything. He did so and later became obsessed with it. Car is too nice not to be clean. As for PMAS, I am not a fan even though I now run one as well. The work to get it to fit is difficult at best. At least the instruction sheet warns you it won't be easy! LOL.
You are in good hands with Adam at Rev Auto, hopefully there will no hitches ahead.
Awesome news! Hopefully we can hang out at the track again soon! I'll be at Watkins with Chin at the end of September. They still have spots available.
I may also try to do the Seat Time but I need to get my diff cooler finished up and may not happen in time.Haha yea the car will never be in that state again lol.
The PMAS may not work at all because of the amount I would have to trim from the fan shroud. The radiator is thicker than yours but I’m not sure in which direction. Going to find out today or tomorrow.
Lol. Steve and I were actually talking about that event. I have it tentatively planned if all goes well in the upcoming weeks. Right now I am shooting for Aug 20 at Summit with Seat Time but that’s being very optimistic.
I will be there as well with Nick and the 58 DHR too.Awesome news! Hopefully we can hang out at the track again soon! I'll be at Watkins with Chin at the end of September. They still have spots available.
