Bob's diff oil catch can

Selling my Bob's differential vent/catch can. Same as used on GT 500KR cars. Includes fittings and hose $70 shipped to 48 states.

You know, at first I thought this was a joke. You know, the box of rags under there to absorb the oil on this catch can. I will qualify this by saying I had never seen Bob's catch can before. :-[

Bob and Shelby both make very similar catch and. They attach by hose to the axel breather and mount the can near the body. When the diff lube expands and vents out of the rear diff. The fluid flows up the hose and collects in the can. As the diff cools the fluid drains back into the diff.
On cars that see track time, this is a must. Before the can was introduced, Ford had a turkey blaster like bulb which was attached to the vent hole. Unfortunately these seldom held the fluid and leaked almost as bad as running without.

Steve went one step further designing and installing a diff cooler system.

Anyone who has found fluid on the axel tube or diff cove, depending on your vent location, néeds this can. Without you continue to loose fluids which is not good for the diff or the track.

I have the Shelby unit. Only minor difference in design and the Shelby unit was on sale when I needed one.

A good buy for track dogs.
