Finally went to my first track day at Atlanta Motorsports Park. Car was great and handled very good although still lacks mid corner feel. Hard to tell when the tires are all loaded up through the corners but thats probably due to the EPS. Also need to get better shocks as I find it to be a little bouncy on the more uneven parts of the track (mainly through turn 15 & 16). Other than that I had a great time and am looking forward for more track days.

Upcoming mods (based off of this track day):
-Better seats (prefer to not get fixed back)
-Better shocks (probably FP track shocks)
-Hankook Ventus RS4

You might also check out TireRack and some of the many choices they rank as it gives one some ideas on some other tires that would be quicker than the RS-4s. Go to the Falken RT660 and then drop down to Tirerack test and it will pop up a video and report on 11 different choices. This might give you more width options as well as a view of some tires that might be more dual purpose ( track and autocross ).

Got the extended studs installed on all four corners along with the KW v1 coilovers. Dont have pics but the s550 pp1 6 piston brakes and rotors are also installed. Took the car out to Road Atlanta and its a night and day difference from the stock shocks w/ lowering springs. Greatly reduced the bounciness and a lot more predictable. Cylinder Head temps didnt go over 215 but oil temps did touch 280 and went to limp mode . Oil cooling mod next and Driver Mod

This is awesome. Watch you be faster than the dark horse r’s…..👀

id say get the nankangs but theyre disconinuing them 😔

new girl on the block is supposed to be vitour p1
The dark horse and the gt350 is the current goal post for me😂
Got the car to handle how I like it, so now its time to push it more to see whats next!
Maybe weight reduction and corner balance👀

Got the MMR oil cooler installed by a shop. This makes a huge difference on a base car with no external oil cooler which enabled me to push it a lot longer and cool down significantly faster. Cylinder head temps dropped as well (probably due to the elimination of the factory thermatic bypass).
