I switch from 7/8 to 5/8 and like that a lot better Still sounds great around town but I like it more for long hiway runs.

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback! I know sound is all relative, so I'm going to remove them completely this weekend to see how it sounds.

Oh, there are some LT headers that allow us to keep the stock mid-pipe? Hm, did not know that.

Kooks offers a H pipe with side pipes for their long tude headers

American Racing Headers has some that are made to keep the stock side pipes. No issues and fit like it was made by the factory.
