CJ Pony Parts is running a sale on the Ford Racing splitter that comes with the LS. Is this a good deal at $629 and does it include everything I will need to mount it to my Boss? Thanks in advance

Adam

IMO, If you are looking to just buy and install then yea. Thats not bad.
If you look at everything that you get for $629.00 then I say no.
If you are handy and have some extra time. You can build your own for 1/2 the price.

!/4 ABS textured plastic about $50
8" spoiler rods about $30
Screws..Just a guess but I say no more that $20
splitter bracket...Buy the Blowfish tow hook for $230. I will have the splitter holes in it
Templet for new splitter $00.00 use your factory splitter and trace the pattern and bolt holes. You can make you splitter to fit your taste.

So for around $350.00 you have your splitter and a tow hook. You saved $375.00 that you can pay yourself for labor... ;)

Search the fourm for how to. there are several guys that made there own splitters. But if your not good with tools and dont have time and extra cash. Then by all means buy the splitter. To be honest I have the WC splitter and very happy with it. For street driving the LS splitter is to big. Just my thoughts.

I agree about the size of the LS splitter. The WC and LS splitter is 10mm or 3/8" thick not 1/4".
