Front Sway bar question

Good morning all. quick sway bar question.
Last week I replaced the stock sway bar end links with adjustable Kenny Brown units. I did that because the stock units were noisy over bumps. With 20K miles I assumed the stock units gave out due to the car being lower from stock. i don't know if that's what happened but the joints were very worn and loose. Anyway, the new links solved the problem and went in without a hitch.
I installed them in the middle hole of three at the ends of the UMI sway bar with no preload. The three holes are my question. What effect does moving the links have? I'm trying to understand the physics and how moving the link front or back affects handling for the future when I want to tune the suspension of the car.
Thanks in advance!

In simplest terms you are adjusting the ratio of roll stiffness of the front to rear. This has the effect of changing which end has more/less grip. Outer end holes have greater leverage to twist the bar, "softer bar setting", as you move the connection point in it becomes harder to twist the bar so becomes "stiffer".
Here is a site that will lead you down the biggest rabbit hole of this forum. Suspension setup, how many different ways can we get to the same result.
