Little help on Rear End Puking on track

2008 Roush Trak Pak and it has the Eaton TruTrac from Roush. At Rockingham, the rear puked quite a bit. The banking was a cause on this I realize. The overflow tube from Roush just sends it on the wheel.

After the Rock, I added a Boss 302 cover and turkey baster on top. At Gingerman, Waterford and VIR this worked great with no issues at all.

At NCCAR, I was blowing fluid out of the top of the Turkey Baster. Should I add a catch can off of the Turkey Baster, or potentially off of the axel vent that I plugged when the baster was installed.

A lot of guys recommended a Bob's overflow can for this:

But some people said that the mount caused noise -- I think Cortex has one, and I think there was a JLT one that's now discontinued if I remember right.

But your turkey baster looks like it has more capacity than the Ford extension solution.

What level of prep is your car? If you are doing track only, you could put a vented catch can up in the trunk space so you have the volume of the line and the can for the fluid to expand, but also the ability for the fluid to drain back down into the axle as it cools.

I had the CorteX vented catch can, mounted as designed on the differential cover and it still puked fluid. I relocated it as high as I could get it, above the wheel well liner there's space by the fuel fill. Same benefit as trunk mounting without compromising the trunk. Problem solved.

It is street driven. I have a Watson roll bar and am not opposed to modifying but I am not crazy about the idea of installing it in the trunk. We like to run the Dragons with friend groups and I dont want to go that far.

Honestly I thought the problem was fixed. At NCCAR you are in sweepers a ton and i guess that is what did it. I am running the Roval in a couple of weeks and know the banking is gonna heat it up. Pulling the cover week afternext to be sure it is ok.
