Ok, since I installed BMR front and rear handling springs with FP Track handling struts and shocks I have been plagued with the front spring pig tails and the first coil binding on each other. This creates a ridiculous amount of noise and is not useable for any kind of serious driving. Since BMR’s only guidance is to remove the Vorshlag plates and install the stock upper isolators, the opposite direction that I want to go, I have decided to remove the front springs and relegate them to the trash heap where they belong.

May I ask for recommendations for front springs? The car is a dual use car. Once this issue is resolved I plan on doing 3-4 HPDE events a season and most likely the same number of autocross events. I feel that I will probably do fewer autocross events and more HPDE as I improve my skill level.

So far in my digging around I seem to end back with CM-5310-YB FP springs. Lower rate than the BUMR springs, and why I am asking for input from the TMO group. I am running 285/35/19 Michelin PS4S on 10” wide wheels at the moment.

I am all ears at the moment and if anyone has a set of springs that fit my needs for my ‘17 GT PP1 please let me know.
