That is some awesome power my sir! I believe our v6s are actually overrated from factory. Of course dyno numbers are subjective to the dyno used, but I have seen numbers as low as 230whp for stockers. If our v6s had aftermarket cam support, they could potentially reach the mid 300whp; however, the highest I have seen is AMR's hurricane with ~325whp.

I’m satisfied with the number. I know dynos vary so i’m not putting too much weight on it. The car runs very low 13s in the quarter. High 12s on slicks so that’s the real test. Have you dynoed yours?

Consider a catch can for the rest diff. Without a cooler the diff will get hot and spit out oil through the breather. A can will catch all and drain back.
Agree - Even running the V6 Cyclone engine it definitely requires a diff catch can and a cooler is suggested to prevent issues. No diff issues of 3 years racing this Mustang. Note: I also race Enduros.

My car makes 273whp. My power mods are almost identical to yours: Air raid CAI, AMR ported upper and lower intake manifold and Borla axle backs. I am still on the stock 2.73 gears. I also have an V8 aluminum flywheel and 6 puck clutch which could add like 2hp...lol. I can see that you power does not fall as soon as mine does, assuming your rev limit is 7.3k rpm (that is where mine is at), when I do the mph to rpm conversion. Below is my dyno run in December on a dynojet in 4th gear. I have long tubes ready to be installed later this winter to break into the 300s. In my home track at MSR Houston, I calculate that a 10% hp increase will net me around 2 seconds per lap.

Received motul 75w140 for the differential. I was running some cheap Valvoline for 30k miles and hate how much of it spews out of the rear axle. It would overheat after about 15 minutes of very hard driving.

I am currently waiting on my motul DCTF fluid to arrive as my calimer cocktail has begun to make the MT82 a bit nibbly at high RPM.

You people with your big ass, clean, empty garages! I need to clean mine before I have room to bring it in to do work... very jealous.

That’s really good power for a tune and intake. The manifold was a revelation for me. Please consider getting a GT throttle body, the power increase through the entire curve is amazing and I attribute the high end power to the TB/Manifold combo.

Pretty sweet my man! Regarding the GT TB, do you have a dyno comparison between it and the stock v6 TB? I have read that it does not make much of a difference, but am open to be convinced! Maybe, as you said, its strength is not in peak power but in extending it in the upper rev range.
I do not have a dyno comparison from before and after. I just have the butt dyno. BBK did a before and after dyno of theirs and it provided power down low and a bump through the entire rev range. My HIGHLY ANECDOTAL experience is that the GT throttle body is the perfect supporting mod for the ported manifold. The mani helped the top end, but it really opened up after I did the TB and it just pulls to redline.

I see sir. I can see how the bigger TB could smooth out the flow going from the intake tube to the manifold. I really want more top end at this time. How was the installation from stock to the GT unit? Is it pretty straight forward? If I can, I would like to ask the dyno dude if he lets me perform a swap while the car is strapped and perform back to back dyno runs for a sweet comparison to share.

The dyno comparison would be great. The GT bolt holes are a bit farther out than the 3.7. I took mine to a machine shop and had them elongate the throttle body holes so it would fit into my manifold.
I then bought a silicone coupler to connect my airraid CAI to the TB. That’s it.
Here’s the coupler:

Spectre Performance SPE-9741 Black 4" x 3.5" Intake Coupler

I do believe that having the large airraid CAI, the large throttle body and the ported manifold eliminated all restrictions.

Thank you sir. I hope to give this mod a try later this year. I would definitely like to take a shot at keeping up with faster cars at the track. Eventually, in the future, I plan to go full roll cage, stripped out interior. and lightened front end components (unnecessary components and down-scale able ones). A realistic goal for me is ~3100lbs with me in it. I am also working on some R&D work to get my car past 400whp N/A, but that is definitely not gonna happen soon. I also believe AMR is working on cams for our v6.

After swapping in my new engine last Feb I noticed there was a small leak in the oil pan. I assumed I did a poor job sealing it. I was wrong. Turns out the pan had a hairline crack in it. Here we are $800 later. At least I know it’s fixed. It’s never fun paying for repairs. This one was just too much work to do on my back.

So I got my car back from the shop today and I have a weird vibration when turning left and when the RPMs are dropping back down to idle. No vibration when turning right. We’ve gone over all the k member bolts and exhaust and can’t find the source. Any help is appreciated.
