Steeda 2012-2013 BOSS 302 Performance Lowering Springs – Part # 555-8245
http://www.steeda.com/steeda-boss-mustang-lowering-springs-555-8245/
Approximately 2000 miles on these Springs (about 50%-50% street & track). Selling because I upgraded to CorteX Racing JRi coilovers.
These springs lower the front about 0.2 inches and the rear about 0.8 inches – removes the factory rake and levels the car. Brake dive and body roll is significantly reduced. I ran these springs with Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates @ -2.5 degrees caster & 7 degrees camber. I had some upper shock tower contact with an upper coil on the spring that I never noticed (noise or performance) until I removed the springs to install the coilovers – an area of the blue paint on the spring has been rubbed off. I’m assuming the contact only occurred when I was on track. On track I ran a square tire setup with Hancook R-S3 285/35ZR18 and the stock Laguna Seca ARB’s – the car handled neutral.
Springs rates for the Steeda BOSS 302 springs are: 225 lb/in Front & 195 lb/in Rear.
