well found my issue for the intermittent Service Charging System Now....with only p0620 and p065B codes that also came and went and no other codes. So I hooked up ODB2 scanner and looked at the Gen Com% and Gen Mon% graphed. Seems an erratic Gen...
Taran Vair at Kozmic Transmissions in Houston built my old 10R80 for track use. Upgraded the clutches, fixed the C drum, added some VB tricks and parts for reliability and performance. Was on a 723whp centri build that I wanted to set up for...
I got the 3500 series off of Craig's List for $900. If you keep your eyes open, they show up from time to time. It's money well spent. I also have the jacking rails. They have locks on them, but I put a jack-stand under each as well to make sure...
Stuffed all four in the car for awhile. Then towed the car with my truck. Now most recently, I just drive to the track on my track tires and bring two spares as backup.

I guess I'll add something to what I wrote earlier. When doing a historgram comparison from a pro to an Am driver, it's common to see the pro spend a greater percentage of time at zero throttle *and* a greater percentage of time a full throttle...
Biggest thing this year is a trip to Germany/Belgium in September ;) anything else is secondary to that trip I wanted to do for so many years now ! The track is great though and this is just a start to more driving there obviously very safe... (see full post)
Thanks Duane and bnight, fun to watch your runs since I don't have any track or autocross time scheduled yet. bnight the track near you looks fun and very safe. I bet you will continue to get a new personal bests there this year!

I posted it in my build thread but still. The first PB on the new A1 Motor Park near Samokov (only 40 minutes drive from Sofia). What a way to start the season.

Here is my mounting. This was originally used with my JRi setup which is very similar to the DSSV shown. The DHR has a similar mount made by Capaldi Racing but theirs is mounted above the arm and has a reinforcement plate that goes on the...
I picked up 2.5 seconds on average from December in 85 degree vs 70 degree heat. The rest of the team lost about 1.5-2.0 seconds. I say very successful. Confidence was a 9.5/10. And I have just a little too much rear spring rate which is being...
I used the Hubs from a 2022 Mach1 magneride. Hub design is the same as the GT350 except the Knuckle is in metal vs Alu. A little heavier, BUT it's basically a bolt on with the ABS sensors.
Did it this weekend:
It amazes me how fast and flowing a lot of the tracks in the USA are. I understand why so many of you are running big wings and splitters.
They are totally different to what i get to usually drive on. The thought of learning to track drive on...
You're not wrong, but to be completely fair, Road Atlanta is a 'big-boy' track. A lot of it is fast and blind. T1 and T6 (the banked right prior to the slow corner that leads onto the back straight) are both corners where you kind of float speed...
Yes, I am so glad I listened to you and everyone else on here. Progress is going swimmingly, cooling is optimal right now, no issues with any of the car. Currently dissecting the interior, one of the sponsors will finish out the rollcage, and...
