I'm all for a bargain, especially if you aren't competing, also given you are still playing with setups, keep some cash for another item. That could be sway bars if needed.
I did the same, grabbed a set of RS4's for playing to take the load off...
The stock dark horse pads whatever they are seem to work pretty good and last a pretty good time on track. I bought Glocs to install when they finally go and interested to see what happens. 16 front 12 rear which was recommended by a sponsor and... (see full post)
As others have said for track work the stock cars dont have enough rate. By the time you factor in springs, front camber plates, and a DSC unit youre already a good step of the way towards a decent set of quality coilovers and you'd be much...
@TeeLew I had to do an entire set up to get my car capable. I know what youre saying. DSC did not put any time into this product. It has potential but you need someone that can engineer it right. As I stated my Best Friend (BFF) is a racecar...

I've had several guys on my DSC maps. Everyone went quicker than the stock controller. A couple guys picked up like 2-3 seconds a lap. Keep in mind, I didn't make their car that much faster. I just made them more comfortable to hustle a car with...
Yes…cover the entire front of your car, and any other protruding surfaces with PPF. Otherwise, they will be sandblasted after the first session. (see full post)
Tire is Continental Extremecontact Sport, dated from 2020.I've been into 2 HPDE events so far, and this year I was planning to be the last one for these tires due to age, just to be safe (6 years seem to be the consensus, even though there's...

Mustangs are tragically undersprung on the front. Get AJ Hartman's Magneride kit with 400-450 #/in springs. It's a massive difference in driving and a lot less harsh than you'd think. Use the stock rear spring to start. A bigger front anti-roll...
From what I remember - GT and GT350 stock DSC calibrations they used to have available for download were exactly the same (which was easy to verify by looking at them in DSC Tuner) - which tells you they put in very little time in the actual... (see full post)
This track is finally opening up to the public! NASA announced Hedge Hollow will be on the schedule for early next year. I've driven by this track a few times in the last couple years and everything I've heard is that it will be private. NASA...
Just so I understand what you are saying, if I order the DSC unit for my Dark Horse, I am essentially getting the S550 calibration they set up for every car from the base GT to the 350 and 350R to the GT500. (see full post)
