    Keep in mind the Apex plastic ones can melt on track but it is not unusual for the metal caps to pop out. Some groups will not allow center caps on a road course as one flying off at speed can be quite hazardous.

    I don't know about the laws, but the stock brake pads on the Dark Horse have a higher coefficient of friction than that (the purple line on the chart in the post immediately above this one).

    Correct. The stock Kelsey Hays discs are 11.25” x .812”. However, here again big block production cars in the day like station wagons had larger 12” x 1.25” rotors. So we are allowed to run those even on the small block cars.

    Couple of short videos from this past weekend…Hallett 50th Anniversary Vintage Festival. Roughly 50 cars…10 in Group 1. We got two races in on Saturday. The rest was essentially a rain out.

    That is a bit fairer, though lightweight Vettes or Jags getting to run 4 wheel discs seems to be a reason they should let all of you run a 4 wheel set up. What does your Mustang weigh without you in the car? (see full post)
