Replace the clutch. My 2011 behaved exactly the same after bumping the rev limiter up to 7500. The clutch looked fine. A new clutch and slave cylinder fixed everything.
blacksheep-1,Could you elaborate a little? Is this something with which you experimented and found that it makes no difference?I have a hazy memory of reading something on the internet where somebody tried with and without, but I cannot...
Saw that test a while ago. But one, most of their testing is on lightweights ("tweeners", even), at least 1000 lighter than today's fat performance Stangs.
And even 2023ish McLaren 720S is almost 1000 lbs lighter than auto DH or 20+ GT500 CFTP... (see full post)
Take tire Temps with a grain of salt for production cars. Carroll wrote about these in his prep/ tune/ drive to win series of books, but you have to remember he was an open wheel guy, and they have very sophisticated and extremely limited ( 2... (see full post)

I have run for 30 minutes very hard at Watkins Glen where you are hard in the throttle a lot. Ford's cooling for these GT500's is great. I will run out gas before I overheat. One 30-minute session at the Glen and I am below 1/4 tank of gas from...
I just place jack stands on the factory pinch welds in their marked locations. No additional lift pads. Maybe I use an old rag between the pinch weld and Jack stand but that's not necessary. Once you go through rotating tires and changing brake...

It is "lead follow." It says so right on the registration page.Learn high speed driving and car control skills through limited classroom and lead follow instruction from experienced instructors. Bring your street car or track car. No previous...
The guy said they were in a storage unit but in too may ways I don't trust the unknown. I just really will use them for an around town tire for now. At this point I may look for some takeoff with a history. Again no track just out and about...
