I'm a slick tire guy, but I do have some experience with the Goodyear Spencer's in WRL. We ran a 12 hour race..or maybe 8, it's been awhile, and those Goodyears were putting down the same lap times at the end, as at the start. I would recommend... (see full post)
I did exactly that for the same reason. Tyres getting old but still good for a thrashing.
P.S. @Apex Wheels have a sale on. Think of it as a long term investment in saving money. Women logic but for cars. But this one does give you as much bang...
Quality coil-overs have the potential to be much better than the stock-type damper because they have a better internal architecture. The problem is that sometimes the people valving them don't have the faintest clue what they're doing. Also...
I was speaking about forces, not clicks when saying 25/75%. There are several different ways at providing adjustment on a damper. It's tough to know whether your adjuster is a needle/seat adjuster or something that preloads a spring/shim stack...

More than a tire with the 26 offset? No way.All we are doing is moving the wheel out to match the same position as the stock 26 offset, so we can use the 52 offset from the rear wheel ( so we can rotate).I think the leverage would be exactly... (see full post)

Justed wanted to update that I've got my aftermarket setup installed. Actual install was pretty easy and straightforward once I got the parts list together. Thanks @navseng for the lead on sweet manufacturing. I assembled a kit from Pitpal - cost...
Randy Pobst on the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09, which come in 295/30R19 and 325/30R19, which he claims lasts for a 4000 mile One Lap of America on a 4600 pound Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody Redeye, 16 track events . . . that is a lot of mileage
Yes. I like them. I have improved my PB at our local track with them, though previously on Falken RT615k+ so maybe not surprising. I can't comment on longevity as I have only had them on for a couple of sessions, but they seem to be holding up...
Easy-Peasy ETrailer has the hitch in stockYah, I put a set of race tier in the mustang with all the tools, and jack for a couple of season but that got old, I'm getting too old for that Rodeo.
I had my first "arrive and Drive" event a few...
I just purchased an open car hauler so I'm trailering my mustang to the track.
I have a C5 with a hitch and built a Harbor Freight trailer tire & Tool trunk trailer. I thought it was pretty cool! The trailer build is documented HERE
