Hope it’s alright to revive this old thread & thanks for all the helpful input…SRP pedals install on my ‘08 Shelby went great.I bought them from LMR & it was good advice to remove the entire gas pedal first (3, 10mm nuts & unplug the... (see full post)
Air is going to take the path of least resistance and in your case around your cooler rather than through it. You need to duct the air hitting the front of the cooler to stop it bypassing.

I feel very lucky to be so close to their campus (about 5 miles away)!I did an event with the Porsche club a few weeks ago and I met none other than Luke Pavlik! I told him that I’d been on TMO and that another member on there had mentioned his...
No. Caster is not a tire wearing angle. With all that malarkey moving the plates around (not a fan of this) are you sure toe is still zero?It seems changing camber is less painful than installing a bump steer kit that also will require an...
Yeah, bumpsteer is inconsistent toe change under compression and droop. E.g. if you are in a turn and hit a bump, the car steers without you moving the wheel. Ackerman could be an issue here, but that's not exactly adjustable. A bumpsteer kit...
Something else that caught my eye. Need you to confirm. Stock strut in first photo has link mounting points both front and rear of the strut. Drop link mounting to the rearward one.
In your photos it appears your struts only have one mounting...
My first simple change which should straighten the angle on the drop links so the joints sit more in the middle of their range.More concerning is this brake hose though. Please replace it. Its not worth the risk of it failing.
I’m having a hard time controlling the oil temperature on my car. At Watkins Glen this weekend I was able to get the car up to temp (oil 180°F) in grid, do an out lap, one hot lap, and my oil temp would already be around 270°F. It was hard to...
The issue with setting it to anything less then maximum or minimum is getting both sides the same. What I’ve done is set the camber at maximum and the toe at 0. When the camber comes out the toe goes in a bit. I’ll have to check my alignment... (see full post)

Taking camber out is a pain in the ass, I run vorshlag plates and change them for every track day and at the moment they run at max on trackI run my caster setting at the middle on the plates. Could this cause this issue. More/less camber gain... (see full post)

If you don't like it, allow me to apologize in advance, but you'll like it. The Shelby dampers and the PP1 tuning works well together. A DSC will never be as good on the street as the Ford controller. It can be better on the track.Lowering the... (see full post)
Please report back on how it is. I have been interested in AJ's magneride front conversion kit, and I am curious how much the front springs change things, both on track and driving on the street. As for the DSC, can you install it for the track...
Ok, I will swap the links. I had a feeling that I had put them back in incorrectly.Good eye on the brake line. I saw that while I was doing the work and it is on the to do list. Only the outside layer is cut, but it still needs to be replaced...
