Dude that looks killer, and I'm glad it worked for you.

Thanks I'll look into those if they can ship to me. Ferodo DS1.11 is half the price but if the Cobalts are better and won't overheat I'd rather spend once and cry once. The track is indeed very fun, Circuit Zolder in Belgium. It is used as a... (see full post)
Air is going to take the path of least resistance and in your case around your cooler rather than through it. You need to duct the air hitting the front of the cooler to stop it bypassing.

I maxed out the camber on the stock plates of my DH non-HP which was -1.5 and still got quite a bit of sidewall scrubbing on my michelin pilot sport 4s on track, so I recently just bought the ford adjustable camber plates that came stock with HP...

I am just a shade Tree Engineer...I design a lot of really cool stuff for industry (Automation/process machinery etc.) but when it comes to the computer generated stuff I'm a techno moron.

Used the track apps lap timer feature on my darkhorse this weekend at the Ridge in Shelton, WA and ran personal bests by about 10 seconds which seemed impossible. Afterwards, I compared my stopwatch timer to the lap-timer in the track apps of the...
I appreciate that. I'm an engineer by trade with some fab experience; not enough to be good, but to be dangerous. I created a 3D model of what I was trying to make, printed 1:1 templates of the flat patterns, cut them with hand shears, broke my...

that's a fun looking track!Based on that video, I'd recommend something like the Cobalt XR3s or XR2s. The XR2 would be my choice - bit more bite than you probably use right now, but a more agressive pad can be very helpful in learning how to... (see full post)
Water I get to 180 pretty quickly, half lap out. transmission temps don't rise much above 125 until midway through a session, and differential usually activates the thermal switch (190) about 15 minutes into a race/session.
Oil temp of 130 F is fine to begin pushing. The warm up lap of a race or TT session is fine, keep revs below 5500 until warm. You will find it difficult to get the oil hotter through idling or even normal driving. Now the oil gains the most heat...
