Hey all I have a ‘21 Mach 1 with handling package parts and some aftermarket parts for better alignment. I do maybe 4-8 track days a year and run 200TW 305’s square. For my purposes I need to keep at or close to factory ride height and good...
Difficult to say, I try to brake hard and late on the same exact reference points. Sometimes I do end up braking a bit longer because of traffic.I have an old video of me on street tires at the end of their service life (went all out on them, I... (see full post)
Understood.
Cobalt XR1/2
Pagid RST3
GLOC R16/18
Hawk DTC-60/70All viable options for front. How is your braking technique? I have read stabbing the brakes instead of squeezing them can play a part
Not quite at Fabman's level, but this is what I was able to put together at 10pm the night before a track day. It's not my best work and will definitely be redone at a later date, but it worked! I was on a different track that required less... (see full post)
Okay that is the extended license. Licenses are cheap for Forscan. Mine is currently expired. I was not sure if I bought the extended license for the crank relearn or to turn off the tpms. (see full post)

Yes I do have deflectors in the front.I actually wanted to get GLOC R12 front and R10 rear at first, but another member here mentioned issues with ABS triggering on 200TW tires. He went with Ferodo DSUNO pads and OEM rear. I figured I should... (see full post)

Moving right along here:I decided to move onto the driver side and start working there while I wait for the replacement Howe Boots to arrive for the passenger side. I got started by installing the 302S Bumpsteer Kit first. Based on some...
I've heard mixed reactions about them overheating. My tracks are very demanding and their temp rating is only 1380f. I had DBA Race performance pads before with the same temp rating and I glazed those. It's the third time I'm getting new pads... (see full post)
I've been using the DS1.11 in my car and haven't been impressed. they're fine, but the Cobalts are better. I liked the Cobalt XR1s. I ran XR1 in the rear as well to help with turn in a bit. Favorite pads by far.The DS1.11s are probably fine...
If you are staying with the 934 mount it lower and duct it. I would definitely go right to a 960, I did the 934-948-960 progression and the 960 makes a big difference. The airflow through the lower mouth is better, but get rid of the factory...

Water I get to 180 pretty quickly, half lap out. transmission temps don't rise much above 125 until midway through a session, and differential usually activates the thermal switch (190) about 15 minutes into a race/session.
