- EF1 replied to the thread Lost 3rd Gear at the track.I think my experience with the swap is in my build thread. I used a Shaft Masters aluminum drive shaft and set the gear ratios in the pcm using HP Tuners (no converter boxes). Everything works including cruise control. (see full post)
