Thanks Rusty and Ted, I really appreciate the comments and especially the video, Rusty. Overall the track appears pretty decent and if you got okay tire wear that would tell us alot because once the track was repaved some years back it was pretty... (see full post)
With a 6 week break until the next event, the window was tight for getting the car back to Montana, parts lined up and getting the engine swapped. The 2-post lift made the job much more manageable, especially fighting 100*+ heat.Tear down... (see full post)
I agree with Rusty's statements. The track was in very good shape overall pavement wise. I thought it got better throughout the day and others felt that way too. Of course I was also knocking the rust off of it and relearning the track, since... (see full post)

I like the addition of steering angle, I do that the autocross, but everything you read or hear says to have a constant angle, I’m excited to try some different methods. (see full post)
I was having the same issues with the rear single piston caliper - Just generating stupid heat and destroying pads. Front brembos have been great, the oem rear not so much. Finally bit the bullet and went full AP. The kit, the delivery paperwork... (see full post)
The video does not explain the issue very well. Are higher tire pressures required? The teams cannot ignore the recommended pressure from Pirelli and run whatever pressure they want? (see full post)
Nurburgring/Spa PreparationsSo where we were in this thread. After the A1 MotorPark track day in June I knew it's time to actually prep the car for the Nurburgring/Spa trip in September. At A1 Motorpark was painfully obvious that at high... (see full post)
