The easy button is to purchase a premade close out panel. That Scott Rod one is super cheap and fancy, but aimed at drag racers so its very thin material. (.040)

Personally I love my V1, but I use it mostly for the predictive lap timer and I watch the video after each session to improve my performance while I'm still sitting in the car.

I do see the message "track key idle active" and i have the plates drilled out to 5/8 inch. The sound is different with track idle active but not what i would call lopey. I have had vintage cars with mild cams and they were lopey. Some one... (see full post)
