@Junkyard Dog Yeah I got better cooling results but the "inferred temp" still seemed off - Getting an oil temp sensor soon so we'll see how the DH radiator really helped along with the oil cooler. Next thing is def 10R80 temps now - got very hot... (see full post)
Dont put more rear aero in the car unless up balance out the front. Drive your car the way it is and grow into the car. If anything put more DF on the front before you add to the rear. (see full post)
Although I didn’t follow this advice. Don’t change anything. Spend money of tires, pads and instruction. A day with a patient, knowledgeable instructor is likely what you need at this point. Also expect to run through brakes at Road America... (see full post)
Hey everyone,I’m considering my first HPDE at Road America (5th HPDE overall) in my 2016 GT Perf Pack and looking for aero advice.Car: stock PP front splitter, spoiler-delete trunk, 200TW tires
Driver: novice/intermediate (experience is all...
Hello, I am in need of help.My 2015 GT 5.0 is having a right rear brake issue; the issue is it rattles and sounds like it might be sticking. Here is a list of what I have done to fix the issue. I bought the car used and it had a Bear drag...
Got a ford service appt for late next week to look at the check engine light- car will be resting in garage until then. before then I may look into Forscan to see if that can give me any other information as well. worth noting that on the same... (see full post)
That doesn't sound like the standard issue that the KRM pump fixes. Basically the stock pickup is on the driver's (left) side, and so in long sweeping turns when the fuel sloshes to the right, and there's starvation. At the end of a straight with... (see full post)
No desire to run a squared 11" set up with 305 all the way around? That is my plan. I have a Dark Horse, but @krisk did the same with a GT. (see full post)
Rev Limiter :? I would clear it and check if comes back. Always have a forscan ODB II with you in the car not sure if the new ones can clean errors via ODB though. (see full post)
Tank was full (just topped off before session). I refuel after nearly every other session and always keep it above 50% on track. Misfire occurred at end of track's longest straight. I should have it on video so I'll see if I can post the clip in... (see full post)
Just curious what tires you are running and whether you have plans eventually to upgrade for track days? Also, what are you looking at with those codes? It looks like you have some sort of app on your phone? (see full post)
How much fuel did you have in the tank and was it on or immediately following a left turn when it happened? At my favorite track there's a long sweeping left hander, and by 50% fuel at the end of that turn I would get a consistent misfire. It... (see full post)
Thanks. I'm doing the exact same setup on another 197 in the garage right meow, and I did one thing different from what you see - this time, instead of running the hoses through the floorboard with the rubber boots to seal, I installed AN... (see full post)
first track day yesterday with the full Gloc R12/R10 setup - felt good. got new pb and more consistent laps all day but thats probably just with more seat time. Not sure if I felt any difference with the track pads vs oems but I think the... (see full post)
Steve has a lift and prefers to take them out the top. I don’t know which is easier but out the top doesn't mess the alignment up since the K frame is mot disturbed. (see full post)
@steveespo might be the better to ask but I think it depends on what’s left on the engine. I already had my headers and the top half of the engine out. The only thing left was the block and transmission. Because of the difficulty putting the new... (see full post)
