At this point I ran the bolt into the abyss, Loctite stud n bearing mount seemed appropriate, and it was torqued to the " feels about right" spec.

Since the part has to be purchased with the entire shifter mechanism, and it's unobtainable, anyway, I had to fix this myself.

So, on my last outing I made a shift into " no forward gear"...again. I actually went from 4th to 3rd, with my cat like reflexes, I got the clutch right back in but left the disc material on the front straight. God bless the guys that invented...
You would be lucky to get about 60% of that in road racing trim. Valve springs and all that would still need to be changed every 25hrs or so of track time. (see full post)

It does not. Not even slightly. Very familiar with Kevin and his exploits. My car will never ever see the abuse and exposure that car has experienced. Also, his failure was self induced; heat and physical contact. Total apples and oranges... (see full post)
You are modest Byron, I have heard you often learn 2 sections in a weekend, ha! Such a true statement, and realistic for many of us, since actually learning a new track takes quite a long time. Even after one gets comfortable it can be a surprise... (see full post)
