Thanks for the suggestions. Conti ECS02 seems like a great option for my needs.Any thoughts on the Firestone Indy 500 or the Falken FK510? They also look to have good rain performance and are significantly less expensive. (see full post)

I never had an ice mode issue with my Mach 1 , yet I never went beyond a R10 in the rear. I always felt the R12s were too close in temp gradients to the R16 or R18s and I wanted the rears to come in earlier and more linearly. Seemed to work , but... (see full post)

  • Ya, I suppose that's fair. You can keep your electronics happy with any tire you want if you change tire sizes in ForScan. As long as you're keeping the tires square, it will be some percentage off on the speedometer, but it won't meaningfully... (see full post)

Threshold braking - haven’t noticed a difference in stopping distance or performance is what I meant. Pedal feel remains strong all session.I think the oem brakes are really just that good/are overkill with the non-handling pack cars’ narrow... (see full post)

Put paint marks on the bolts so you can tighten them to the same position. I just remove the lower bolt and then pivot the caliper up on the upper bolt. Swap the pads out. I don't buy new bolts and I don't use any threadlock. Make sure to... (see full post)

To clarify, S550 does NOT have external thermostat 7H322 nor coolant heat exchanger 7A095B. I do not know if S650 has an INTERNAL thermostat, but it wouldn't make sense to if there is already external thermostat 7H322.Please see S650 and S550... (see full post)
