I do stud installs all the time on Mustangs and many other cars. SOrry to be blunt, but its almost insane to pull the axles to do this unless you have to in order to get the new ones in (which you shouldn't).You don't need a 4lb hammer to... (see full post)

For a comparison, ran a 305 Nankang CRS in the wet and was aquaplaning on the front straight at about 87mph. The first group all got caught on the dummy grid as the rain arrived and out we all went on drys. That was interesting. Thankfully i had... (see full post)

Depending on sizing, something with way more grooves than what we run in the dry. I go from a Nankang CRS back to a stock Michelin 4S. If you run an 18' wheel you have more choice for a proper wet track tyre. So usually something narrower as... (see full post)

With the stud issue solved, it was finally time to install the brakes. I had the M-2300-S kit sitting on my shelf. I was really unsure what to do with pads, so I called Terry @ Vorshlag, explained my situation, and asked him which G-Loc pads to... (see full post)

It is but not everywhere, just another headache to deal with and a revised fuel system needed for the volume required. We have good 98 RON which is your 93 everywhere. My local petrol station used to sell 101 race fuel as we had a dirt bike track... (see full post)

I had a few options here. I could:Pick up generic Dorman studs and press them in at $10-20 Spend $15-20 each on OEM Ford studs Go big and go with ARPNaturally, I chose the latter. Partially because I wanted it done right and also because I... (see full post)

With Club Spec Mustang out of the window. It was time to decide what I wanted to do. I felt as though I got a good jumpstart on things. I know that on the street a stock 3v car might be a little underwhelming, so the extra power was welcome... (see full post)

Last year, I did the S550 brake upgrade to my 2012 Boss 302 that included R&R'ing the rear studs. The axles came out too, to R&R the seals (I'd blown the passenger side seat @ LSIR in 2024).I removed the old studs using a hammer (don't wail on... (see full post)

Yeah this intake is about 1.5” taller than the blower was. There is a Boss version of strut brace that will clear, it’s a pricey SOB, about $300.Other versions seem to be questionable, mixed reviews on the web. (see full post)

FWIW, I don't know if it has enough jaw width to press OUT extended studs, but it will tackle normal no issue and will press just about any stud in.I used the Lisle 22800 installer and a lug nut to get them started so I could ensure everything... (see full post)
