I have had no power loss except when my differential overheated prior to adding a cooler (mines is a GT, not DH)and the car went into limp mode. I’ve had my car on track for 30-40 minute sessions while temps were in the 90’s. No issues. (see full post)
Can you elaborate a little on how you do this? Just go to the hardware store, buy 120 grit, fold it, hold it, and proceed to start scrubbing on the rotor until it looks all smooth?Did you take the rotor off to do it? (see full post)
I bought a set in Jan and am super happy with the Firestone Firehawks V2. Can't beat the price for performance and I'd say they are comparable to the Conti ECS 02s I had on my GT500. I have gone to track night 4X this year and I like the grip... (see full post)
I figure with the track prepped cars in here, someone must have the factory trunk liner/floor mat piece they want to get rid of? But being somewhat large and rigid, it might very well be cost prohibitive to ship one of those. In the greater St...
Love the look of the Cobra Nogaros. Did you have any fitment issues getting the new seats installed that required cutting part of the center console or other mods? I swapped out my stock front seats with some OMP seats but I didn't have enough... (see full post)
Thanks, you should have explained. So many people I know from forums but don't know in the real world lol. Appreciate the help and the kind words, it was a good weekend (see full post)
Interesting to hear you had no power loss during your sessions. I had my check engine light from recent misfire checked out at Ford Service and they were able to clear the light, and thru their standard diagnostic procedure there were no issues... (see full post)
I just wanted to come back to the thread again and thank you guys for the information leading up to the weekend. I thought the MCA/SAAC event was great and had a blast out on the track. I'll admit I had some tunnel vision for the first couple... (see full post)
I'm running the KPM 800 in my car as well and it solved my fuel starvation issue on left hand turns which I had happen with over 1/4 tank of fuel remaining. I have noticed the gauge is not really reliable when on track, but I've got a pretty... (see full post)
I would have no concerns running the R16/R12 combo on the street from a functionality standpoint. That is what I run for track use, and I take my car on the street when getting work done. The G-Loc track only brakes work perfectly fine on the... (see full post)
Understood. Just a typical blanket disclaimer. My second time with gloc. G1’s seem great on street car. R16’s grab like hell cold but are noisy and probably throw sparks at nighttimeWaiting to get them warm to see if they shut up at all275... (see full post)
An MGW shifter solved the lockout problems I originally had. Can't say I've really noticed any transmission heating issues on my MT82...yet. (see full post)
