Would you mind coming back and reporting to us how many track days you get out of that 3R tire?It is 100 tw. I have been thinking about running it in a 19" size, but I did not want to have to buy a new set after every track weekend if that is... (see full post)
I see no reason to increase the rear spring for most people. The advantage to AJ's (or others) rear setup is to have control of rear ride height, not for the ability to run super stiff springs. IF you have understeer, there are 10,000 things you... (see full post)
I guess you can say its a sum of all the additions you do to your car. For example, if you do a Cobrajet manifold with 67mm twin throttle bodies and a huge CAI, you have to improve the exhaust end as well or you do not get much to show for it... (see full post)
Would you be willing to email the 05-09 Mustang profile to me?I’ve looked all over the Forscan website and there’s no way to get a hold of those guys!I’m trying to access the ABS bleed procedure via Forscan and I can’t get past the PCM check... (see full post)
I just revisited your response, and ironically I ended up placing an order for the 400lb front spring from AJ's site. I had to do a double take because I remember you said thats what you did. It's come full circle haha. Did you go with the stock... (see full post)
Just placed an order for the 400 spring from AJ's website. I am going to leave the rear Ford Performance spring alone, and see how it rides. Different forums have reported that the rear FP spring is rated between 750lb - 850lb. One chart that I... (see full post)
I swapped to Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 tires, and the wear wasn't bad. I took this pic Sunday morning of the front tires while doing a rotation. Saturday both myself and my friend were running the car in back to back sessions (transmission on his... (see full post)
How did the tread look at -2.4°? I am guessing they were still worn toward the outside edge after Road Atlanta. What camber plates are you using? (see full post)
New setup installed today. I pushed the camber plates as far as I could, put on the wheels, and measured about 6-8mm of strut clearance up front. (see full post)
Are your Boss control arms different than the FR500S? My FR500 arms are the same as S197 GT500. Those are available at all the usual Mustang parts suppliers. (see full post)
No pics today, but the harness and ECU came today and it’s alive!
my oil cooler adapter has a crack so I have to replace that, it will be here Saturday. Wish I could have gotten it tomorrow, then I could hit an autocross Saturday.Driving it... (see full post)
Isn't a lot of the hp gain simply in getting rid of the cats (or going high flow)? Why not keep stock manifolds and side pipes and just replace cats with your choice of high flow cats or test pipes? I seem to recall some back-to-back dyno tests... (see full post)
Is your goal to keep the OEM side pipes, and therefore the factory H mid-pipe? It's an important consideration because I believe almost all of the long tube header options don't work with the factory mid-pipes since they come much further back... (see full post)
I moved to a square set up about a month ago before going to Road Atlanta. With 25mm spacers on the front and 20x11 all around. Running 305/30/20 on all corners. Atlanta has a few spots of noticeable compression so I definitely had slight rubbing... (see full post)
Brand new car with brand new wheels; surfaces are clean. Dry threads. I typically lightly lube threads (anti-seize or ARP ultra-torque), but because these are the coated lugs, per OPM guidance, I did not lube with anything. (see full post)
