Best of both worlds. Not to mention spare tires for the trip. A small trailer and hitch and you have a way to move your spares, tools and have a rear facing tow hook. (see full post)
PANIC???? Im in. LOL.The best/worst news from the data center haters is the water usage. Since the centers only add heat to the water, where is the rub?? Force the industry to use closed loops, reuse their water after cooling....problem... (see full post)
Thank you all for the insights. Yes I felt them get greasy when at Barber In August especially the second day when my pace increased significantly. I will use the ECS2 but watch tire wear. Thanks again. (see full post)
Great color ( I am biased ) but do tell us more, like:
1. What tires are you running?
2. Future plans to autocross or track?
3. Mods you want to do?
4. Color of valve stem caps you are going to purchase? (see full post)
October is here!!!!!...................Today's Cryptoquote.........." Listen! The wind is rising, and the air is wild with leaves, we have had our summer evenings, now for October eves."________Humbert Wolfe.. (see full post)
Thank you for the write up! I have been eyeing hub stands for over a year, but wasn't willing to pay several thousand that some cost and wasn't sure if the Motive Engineering stands would work well for my S650. You convinced me, and I just... (see full post)
A Very Happy Birthday to my OLD "Blues Brother" Tyme!!!!!! Like Bill says, Come out of that quiet corner you've snuggled into............I miss "jabbin " posts with you!!!! (see full post)
My experience from tracking with both tires is the biggest difference is when the weather is really hot. I tracked the Sport 02 in July in Florida with temps in the mid 90s. After about 15 minutes on track I noticed the tires losing grip and... (see full post)
You might do a quick check of Tire Rack and Grassroots Motorsports and you will notice the comments on the Sport Contact 02 are solid for wet and dry and durability. Surprisingly the Extreme Force does not fair much better on track and as noted... (see full post)
One of our long time members and favorite " Ol Blue Mustang Owners " is getting more gray hair, arthritic joints, and excessive amounts of ear hair! Time, er, tyme to reach out and wish him the best and hopefully we can get him to get back to...
Thank you so much for the insight! I will stick with the ECS2 and watch the wear. Will change camber when I arrive and reset before drive home. (see full post)
So while not my car, I finally had to do the strut tower mod on a GT500 for more camber. I made a 3d printed tool that fills the center of a holesaw to nicely cut out the strut tower opening. (see full post)
I would echo the warning about making that long of a trip on ECFs. In a very light rain with no puddles, the ECF would be fine, but I wouldn’t want to be trying to drive on them in any significant amount of rain. I’ve run the ECS02 on track, and... (see full post)
It's the Steeda 3" Catback getting tons of compliments on it. I personally don't like it as there is a drone on 2000 rpm which is very annoying on the highway but overall. Sound + Performance benefits + Price I think it was worth it a lot. (see full post)
Thank you for your insight. I’m starting to think that is the best route. The ECS2 are new with a 2 day session and about 4k miles on them. They did ok at Barber where it was very warm. While my Jeep Grand Cherokee could pull my Shelby - part of... (see full post)
Did something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, started a livery on the car.
I’m digging it, the red is nice but I wanted to break it up some. The main point of it was to protect the rockers/lower door area, they are getting hammered. (see full post)
just realised you said rear caliper, oopsif its just the dust boot then you should be able to source a generic that would work. Its 44.5mm or 1.75'.Just went back to where i was going to send you first up, they do a 44mm... (see full post)
