I could hear a loud whine on the dash cam earlier, I don't hear it anymore. What a bummer in such a long race to have that go wrong. They were in first place for a few hours too and looked to have the pit advantage IMO. Hopefully they can make up some laps over the next few hours. Car sounds...
I think the Pinion seal just went, they are in the garage trying to fix it. :( They are replacing the rear diff and hoping to get back in the race...good luck
I can't stop watching. Awesome race, really hoping they get to repeat their win this year. The 2 red headed step children with insane acceleration will be a constant pain i'm afraid....lolChris
New IDS Nano adapter. I was reading a sales email and noticed this little guy. http://www.buyobdtool.com/wholesale/vxdiag-vcx-nano-for-ford-mazda-2-in-1.html?f=a5r7Looks pretty sweet and the price is cheap.
Search for Rejex , it works great IMO. I wash, claybar, then apply Rejex to the paint, stripes and windows/glass. I also pull my wheels off once a year and wash and apply 2 coats of Rejex. You can apply wax over for a deeper shine, but the wax doesn't stick too well to Rejex. I also maintain...
I've had to watch that a few times. That has to be one of the sweetest sounding Mustangs i've ever heard. It's like nothing else. And I know if it sounds that good on my laptop, it's gonna give me goose bumps when I hear it in person. Congrats to all those who get one, i'm extremely jealous...
I use this stuff called Rejex on my whole car, but a detailer friend told me that it works great on the wheels and is cheap. It keeps the brake dust from sticking to the wheels...
Thanks! Did a quick search for those years and here it is http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/additional-how-to/hrdp-1104-what-breaks-in-2005-2011-ford-mustang/I will keep on looking to see if I can find any updated ones.Chris
I was reading this article http://www.hotrod.com/features/hrdp-1106-fifth-gen-camaro-parts-failure/ about 5th Gen Camaro's part failures and at what HP or conditions. I was wondering if anyone has a similar article or information?Chris
Taught my son in my Suzuki SX4 and he also practiced some in my Boss. We found him a 2000 GT that was well taken care of, had a lot of highway miles and a racing clutch... His left leg is a lot stronger now to say the least...lol. Also the traction control is disabled and he's managed to...
I agree that in 20 years our cars would be dinosaurs, but so will many others. The difference I feel is that there is no 2014,15,16 etc. Boss 302's. When they make a new model better every year of the GTR or BMW or even the Shelby's, the value will drop fast. Look at the 2012 GT 500, who...
My opinion is that if anyone drove the old 60's mustangs and grew up loving them, then our 12 & 13 is the last of the live axle. Other than a Cobra Jet, I don't see Ford ever making them again. The Mustang will never again be true to it's roots. I feel our Boss's will eventually go up in...
Helpful post here https://trackmustangsonline.com/index.php?topic=9047.msg131577#msg131577 in the how to forums for disabling or enabling the daytime running lights with the ford IDS.Chris
