I've had the Ford VCM II and IDS for a bit for Ford's. I thought I'd create this thread for discussion's about programming modules, keys etc.
I bought my stuff from http://www.buyodbtool.com
It's a Chinese Rotunda, I also have the DLink wifi adapters. It works good so far. I've played around with it a bit, but haven't done anything too difficult with it. This shipped with all the software you need, IDS v92 and v86.
I also picked up the Ford Shop Manual for 2013 on Ebay. It's a DVD and I had to do some trickery to reset the date when I load the program.
The other tool I've had for a few years, it's a Bluetooth OBD reader, I actually have a few of these, but just picked up a smaller version so my feet don't hit it when I'm driving. I use this with Torque app on Android (for iPhone too). If you never used this app, it's really nice. I like the Track Recorder. You can really customize what you want on the screen. Plus you can monitor everything the computer see's while you drive. http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Main_Page
Along with the app for my phone I use the Mountek phone mount's that slide in the CD tray space. It has a magnetic mount and is easy to use. It is strong enough for my Samsung Galaxy Note III and will only fall off if I drop the clutch on a sticky road from about 3500 RPM.... No, really it only fell off once. http://www.mountek.com/
Anyhow if you plan to buy or own any of these tools for your Ford or other cars, I'd be happy to find out how you used or use them. I think we could dig up some cool ideas.
EDIT: Added link to VCM PDF guide collection of mine https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9582fbs4zuunho5/AADQ2u1Ay7P2XDGi9V6LHg1ea?dl=0
