PP2 Wheels and Tires

My first question is, does anyone know if the old S197 Track Pack/Brembo Wheels will fit on a PP2 car? I'm considering trading in to a 2018 PP2 car and since it's winter time here I was going to see about putting a set of TP/Brembo wheel with Blizzaks on the car.

Second, is anyone out there running a true square setup on aftermarket wheels and tires? I was looking at something in a 19x10 (maybe 19x11) like the SVE S350, R350(first choice) or maybe the SP2 wheel. I'd probably be looking at RE71's or Ventus RS4. Be great if I could get to a 305/30 but may consider a 285 square setup. This would be for street and track.

I was running R350 wheels with 285/10" front 305/11" rear, but I recently did the work to run 305/11" square using the R350 wheel. I needed a 20mm spacer and the long ARP studs up front. Haven't run it yet but it fits with ample clearance. I have the FR3 Ford suspension and CC plates -2.5 camber.

What year?

I have heard of others doing a 305 square but hadn't seen it on PP2 with aftermarket wheels. Probably need to look at more forums as I'm sure they are out there. 18's would also be nice to cut down on tire price.

It's a '16, PP1, but as far as I know all the Mustang GT S550s share the same suspension in terms of geometry, clearances, hubs, etc., PP2 should be the same as well I think? It's not uncommon to find people who are serious track days types running 305 square, I don't think it's that big of a deal to do these days.

Details please. What wheels and tires, suspension, camber...

You can check out his fitment info here: https://www.apexraceparts.com/blog/kens-2016-performance-pack-gt-with-ec-7-wheels/

Our 18" wheels fit nicely over the S550 6 Piston brakes and open up many tire options. If you did go 19x11", that works great as well but I would use 305/30-19 tires opposed to the 35 series as again it has many more quality tire offerings.

Here is our 18" EC-7 over the S550 6 pots.
