Definitely a shot at gun control. He has a point. My state has electronic safety signs which show a running total of highway read for the year. 944 as of yesterday. No news about highway deaths.

Rick and a few others may remember this, but there used to be a sign on Pacheco Pass that listed the number of deaths since it opened. It had little number plaques that looked like they hung on nails like a little league score board.


It is meant as satire, but some people took that page seriously and got really pissed. Which was funny.
