- Joined the Navy in 2010 and told myself I'd get something reasonable like a VW Jetta Wagon or Ford Fiesta. Saw the Shelby sitting on a Toyota used car lot and popped in to look at it. Looked up its Carfax and it had been on the associated Ford lot for the 2 months prior. Told the salesman that if it made me giggle, I'd buy. I giggled ... then bought the 2 yr old car with 16,000 miles for 32k out the door. #wheeling and dealing
Made no mods for about 8 years and then finally started to customize. Drove it daily the entire time and currently she has 107k miles and 575RWHP and still runs like a champ.
I plan to get out to VIR at some point and get it on a legit track vs the local cone racing.
