- I purchased the car from a friend’s son with a nasty rod knock from cylinder 2 and hail damage. Replaced engine with a low mileage junkyard engine, and have performed maintenance in order to have a solid starting point to get on track to gain driving experience. While leaving room to identify the areas where improvements is needed as drivers skill increases.
