- Background & Plans
- I've wanted a boss bad since 2012, but didn't have the money for one. Years and life went by and I still had the want to track a mustang. Hearing of a new road course race track being built as hour from me got the want turned to a need. Started looking during plandemic as I just had to race before the globalists killed us all off. Prices were high and so I started looking at the wrecked market. Finally found one I thought was rebuildable for track use and just needed a second chance. purchased car Spring of 21'. Right front had taken impact but unsure of what exactly happened, maybe curbed it. Frame and chassis for most part were good. Motor sounded good. I wanted to bring car back to stock form and experience it that way and then begin modding. Tearing it apart and rebuilding really gave me a good understanding of the car as its my first mustang. Well 43k on struts led me to upgrade that first. Then camber plates. Then lowering springs. Then panhard bar. then.... you know. Budget out the window. Cause race car. Had the mustang club event at Ozark International over Memorial Day 2022 in my sights. Car went to the body shop to get painted and then had to get back home to finish wrenching and getting ready for event. Well they painted the car the wrong color.... Needless to say it was a total fiasco to get the car to the track. Late nights the last two days before my first ever hpde event with the car but holy crap was it worth it!
