- Background & Plans
- A Father & Son project we optioned out and ordered from the factory in mid-2010 when the Coyote engine launched. Aftermarket parts were scattered around the living room before it even arrived. It has slowly gone through multiple iterations in order to attack common problem areas, but hasn't strayed too far from stock. My goal is to develop it into a refined dual-duty Mustang that you can drive to the track, have some fun, and then bring it back home in one piece. I'm currently creating a written plan, gathering tools, hoarding parts, and hopefully creating a garage space soon with the idea of one day graduating from autocross into HPDE. This will never be a track-only car, mostly due to the Comfort Package and Glass Roof, but my goal is to bring my idea of what a do-anything (show, street, track) Mustang is into reality.
